Are there any anti-virus software for macs?malware

Yes there are, but unless you have one of the newer Mac's with the INtel chip and run Paralells, and or BootCamp and run Windows most of us don't use the software, because most of the Viruses and Trojans, and Malware were developed for Microsoft, and Windows, as well as Microsoft's Mail Programs.

If you feel it neccessary to have virus protection for your Mac here is one I would use.

Don
I think just any security would work?
You don't really need AV software since the style of architecture is such that viruses are unlikely to spread. This is the case with UNIX-like systems.

Don't bother with it, as it's not really a high risk.
No, Macs don't think they have a virus.

The arrogant MAC user will say there is no such thing as a virus for a MAC (complete ********). The first virus ever created was for a MAC.

I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to put this on their PC but if you have a MAC then Norton away :)
AVG Anti virus and McAfee virus scan Plus 2007 are supposed to help a lot.check out http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-sAFtLsc8e... for more details.
norton anti virus, but i doubt you need any macs are virus proof
You really don't need virus protection on a mac. There are not alot of viruses out there that will affect apple computers. I' ve been an mac tech for the last 4 years and have never seen one come in with a virus.

If you still would like to get an anti-virus program for your system I know that norton use to have anti-virus software for macs. Im not sure if they still do.

But you don't need it because:

"Today, the number of viruses actively attacking OS X users is...NONE!"
