of course. You need to install something on any type of computer to protect you from viruses, especially if you use the internet a lot.

Not really - most viruses are for Windows but you can install Clamshell AV- it's open source (free).



If you have a Mac running bootcamp and Windows, then yes - you should have an antivirus running as you would on any other Windows machine.
Yes. That is why they make and sell anti-virus software for MACs. MACs can get viruses just like a WIndows PC, it is just that since there are so few MACs compared to PCs, nobody has made creating MAC viruses a priority. But they do exist. And sooner or later somebody will write one and infected everybody on a MAC because the people think they can get along without a virus scanner.
