Cons: low virus detection

2. Avast!

a. Real-time protection

b. It has an option to delete a virus once found

c. Can detect about 87.46% of viruses.

Cons: Too many icons and confusing user interface

3. Avira AntiVir

a. It can detect malware better than Avast and AVG

b. It's cute umbrella icon

c. Can detect about 94.26% of viruses

Cons: A very sluggish update

If you're looking for something free then AVG would be good. I use it on all the laptops and PC's in my house and theres never been a problem with it.

Recently i bought a new laptop and it comes with McAfee Security Center which i must say is really good. It doesn't bog down your computer like Norton and just sits quietly in the background. And im running this on a Celeron laptop which aint the fastest thing out there.

Norton 360 is the better.It's i use.Kaspery, to me is not so good like Norton.Norton eh vida, Norton e saude. Hugs.
AVG for free. Norton if you want to pay.

PC running slow sounds like a spyware problem to me...
I use AVG, mine used to run slow, but I got more memory put on it, and now it's fine...... touch wood...lol.
