Best and worst anti-virus suite?

I have a brand new Sony Vaio laptop, and I'm working on customizing it. It's sleek and awesome. Vista runs very well on it, and minus a few incompatibilities, it works awesome.

So now I'm thinking about getting a security suite.

Even though Vista is pretty secure by itself, it never hurts to have more.

So what can you recommend me? I don't care if it's paid, free, or anything, as long as it works well.

So which one is the best, and which is the worst?

Live OneCare is the best in my opinion.

One of the other users on this question must not have tried the latest version, or even tried it in the first place.

Live OneCare is the best out there. Because:

1. It's easy to use - no cryptic messages or anything. The UI is navigatable.

2. It's cheap - you can get it for $11 at Sam's Club

3. Who knows Windows security better than Microsoft? They're the ones who make it!

4. Create a PC hub to monitor several PC's in a room.

5. Never got a virus or any malware using it.

6. Not annoying

7. Better than Norton and McAfee, who's recently started copying OneCare's ease of use.

8. Integrates with IE7 to ensure a secure browsing.

9. Doesn't use up a lot of resources.

10. Back-up and store important photos and documents to OneCare's servers.
