because you didn't tell it to delete the files off the puter. to do that you must first let norton pop up on the screen %26 it saying you have a virus. then when it shows what files are the viruses put a check mark next to it %26 then press delete. Good luck!!!!

Coz Adware is not a VIRUS... Its a program... But yes, harmful to ur computer.. Try out spyware / adware remover rather than wasting time with Norton..
You cannot get rid of adware using Norton antivirus because it does not include adware remover . You can get a separate Noton package to remove adware from www.symatic.com
