AVG has poor detection rates. The free version does not come with the ewido engine that is part of the pro version. it doesn't shape up well against other free products, and should be avoided if you want to the best protection for your machine.

www.avast.com(super up to date%26quick)

.avg/antivirus,free(you can install both)(but only run1@a time)

These two are the best,they clear the infected files%26worms100%,download both(free%26safe)that way you can test out both some time(see which you like best)

AVG is excellent,it updates automaticall every day or 3%26locks up safly in virus vault for you to get rid off.(finds them all)
