My lap top came with Norton, it expired today. I need a new one. Suggestions and why??

AVG FREE, KASPERSKY, panda security. get something(avg)until you renew your norten or get kaspersky, kaspersky is the BEST!!!
I would suggest you to purchase either Avira or Kaspersky. I have tried %26 tested these 2 programs %26 I haved found it reliable in detecting %26 getting rid of stubborn %26 highly dangerous viruses , trojans %26 worms that other Anti-Virus programs could not even detect. If you're kinda tight on the budget, you could download panda titanium @ www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/solution... It's highly effective %26 reliable as well!
Uninstall your present security software and use the following:
