The IT dept more then likely already has one installed. You may or may not be able to see it in the task bar running. Check with them if you think there is none installed.

Why in the world would you want to uninstall the antivirus software on your office network. Are you thinking of destroying their entire system. This will not only cost you your job, but you will go to jail, plus have to pay for all the damage that you have caused.

Please me smart, and don't even think of such a criminal act.

You don't want to mess with your employer's network. First off the IT department has to check software to make sure it is compatible with the network. They also must have the business license for each copy that is being used. Not having that will cause your employer to pay a hefty fine when they get caught....And caught is very possible as business's are audited on the software they use compared to the software licenses they have.

Ask your IT department if there is anti-virus software running on the network. As long as they say yes....you don't want to do anything else that could crash your network.
you shouldn't install anything at all on your office pc, you could get fired. You should contact ur boss or the company IT for anti-virus if you think its not on the pc.
