What is the best anti virus software right now?

I use Norton. But I hear that Zonelabs is far better and more conducive for fine tuning, than Norton.

I use AVG from Grisoft. It's free (there is a 'pay for version too), updates daily %26 seems to be very good, certainly very easy to use.

I swear by AVAST and CrapCleaner.
Avast
Firstly pay for nothing, its a rip-off.

I am running Vista Home Premium, I have kept my security arrangements the same as when I was running XP. They are as follows :

AVG 7.5 Free

Lavasoft adaware SE Personal

Spybot Search %26 Destroy

Spywareblaster

I have been using this security configuration for years, without a single problem.

Its all free.

EDIT:

When I was running XP I also installed Zonealarm Firewall, now I have Vista it is not necessary as Vista firewall is much improved, Zonealarm link is :

Once again its free.
Avast.

its free, regular updates and quite capable.
As long as it is up-to-date it doesn't really matter that much.

Just get something you like. I use Nod32 because it's very light on computer resources.
Common sense?
