McAfee is the best, I know about norton, it is a stupid software, it takes loads of time to startup and then again is expensive to purchase, mcafee is the best, and comes in handy and there you can see which programs to allow and block manually, with norton, it doesnt give that option.

AVG run Mozilla Firefox and put extensions, is fast and don't worry about viruses.
Norton Corporate Antivirus. It never expires, and it updates automatically every week. It's pricey, though, but that's the answer to your question.

Norton Internet Security is your best bet. It has all that you need. If you need something faster increase your RAM.

The best antivirus solution if you want not to affect computer performance is Kaspersky Personal Pro.Could be usefull also BitDefender,but it slows a bit your PC.Norton is not trustworthy.I recommend also Symantec Corporate Server

Linux will prevent virutally all the common viruses, because most of them are designed for windows. So yeah, I'd say that that's the best anti-virus software even though that's not what it's purpose is.
Well I got Windows OneCare and it works good.
There are some that they do not reduce speed but as i have tested them they could not find and recognise a lot old and new viruses but MCAFEE i think is fast and safe.
