How can using anti-virus software can help to keep risks to a minimum?

Anti-virus software is one of several components of minimizing risks to your computer. You also need a firewall and something that checks for malware in general. Otherwise your computer is at risk for a hostile takeover.

I recommend Kaspersky and spy bot search and destroy. They are relatively inexpensive and work great. Since I started using them my computer has returned to it's quick speed and there are no more hang ups.

well it basically checks everthing from the internet or software and if it spots anything that could be harmful it deletes it so it doesn't kill yourcomputer or steal any info
