anti virus software is okay if old virii attack your pc but if they're new, chances are they won't be detected by the anti virus software.

I find AVG to be okay.

One final note, use RESTORE to roll back your pc after healing virus to completely get rid of virus.

If all else fails, back up your important files and format drive and reinstall windows.

avg free is great, then again anything is better than norton, notice how they advertise on these pages? getting desperate
I use AVG. I found Mcafee to take way to long to bootup and Norton slows many peoples computers down considerably.
