Actually, there is no "best" anti-virus program. Everyone, thinks the best one, is the one that they are using. For someone else, it might be hard for someone to use, therefore, you cannot claim, that one, is the best. I have been using AVG free anti-virus program, for about three years, and I have never had a virus, on my computer, and I do a lot of surfing, on the internet. I would recommend avg, but I sure as heck, don't know if it the best. I can only speak, of my experience, using it. If you would like to try it, here is the link..Good Luck..

Is there such a program? I'd like to know the answer to that one myself!
Norton AntiVirus. This software is the #1 selling antivirus in the world. I would remcommend you to get a Norton Antivurs with Internet Security. wwww.symantec.com

Thanks
for me is Norton Antivirus

but the most powerfull anti virus is yourself.
The very best antivirus is getting ALL your security updates for windows uncluding sp2.. Run a good firewall and,be very careful as to what links/web sites you open.
no the best is macafee i have nortan and when i download some thing and run a scan on it with nortan it never pick up but when i does it with macafee it alll ways pick up
norton anti virus
Norton AntiVirus
Norton all the way
ZoneAlarm. It has good antivirus, antispyware, firewall and more. www.zonelabs.com
The best, as rated by Download.com, and CNET, plus my opinion as a PC reapir tech, is AVG. It has a free edition that is leagues better than any of the pay ones that I have ever had to use on a customer's pc. If i find Norton or McAfee on a customer's PC, i tell them to change it to AVG. I have not had a virus in 3 years of use.
I use Norton Anti-Virus

It works great
NOD32
I would recommend either Avast Antivirus or Antivir. I like Norton, but it has missed many viruses that the other two I mentioned did not. To boot, they both have free personal versions. :)
