ESET Nod32 is my virus scan. it ranks up there with the best you can get. Another one that I recommend is AVG. I recommend it because it is free, and as far as I can tell, you can not beat free.

myself i use bitdefender but nothing can beat an antivirus updated
anyone can do,but you need to update the virus definition frequently
I recommend AVAST. It's free and does not slow down your computer. I previously had used Norton and McAfee in the past and did not find them worth the $. Norton especially uses a lot of your computers resources and may slow it down.
