Avast is brilliant. Free and effective!!!!
i use norton virus u get 80 dayz free but it works really well and tells u strate away if theres something rong with ur computer
I use avast!. It's free online and very good. I used to use PC cillin or something like that that geek squad installed on my computer when I bought it. After my year expired, I downloaded avast! and it found several viruses that PC Cillian hadn't caught. For Spyware, try Spyware Blaster. It won't cure any current spyware if you have any, but it will block any new spyware from coming in. Both are free.

There are free anti-virus scanners availble. They work well. I like AVG the best of all the free anti-virus programs.

If you are not willing to spend money it is good to have some kind of anti-virus software
