Avria worked just fine on my Celeron machine @ only 900 Mhz, so it should work great on your 1.6 GHz.

No problem, it will just be slower.
The processor is OK. As it is a newer processor the memory provision should be OK but check that the memory requirement and make sure. Otherwise, you should be OK. Good luck.
