The best anti-spy ware and anti virus is the Norton 360. because

all types of security are in there it also backup files to prevent from loss of data.
I would also recommend AVG the free version, I have used it for 3 years now and I am very pleased. You have to also be careful what sites you visit .. many give you a lot of "crocs" and not only the porn ones. I have a good habit of not entering just any site and with AVG by my side never had any issues. If you go to warez and other sites like that all the time, there's no AV to help you ;)
