There's no conflict between the two application, in ZoneAlarm allow AVG and in AVG allow ZoneAlarm to be executed/access the internet.

I've been using the 2 applications in my PC for a year now, but sometimes AVG makes it slower. You need to configure AVG base on your needs, minimize the configuration so that it will not take a lot of memory.

Spybot Search and destroy, CCleaner, McAfee, and ad-aware. and if you want to pay for Norton Antivirus, get that, too. I have all of those; my computer has no virus or spyware/ malware problems.
I had Nortan installed and then Firewall, but then my system started to explode. Everything went wrong. Then i found out that Antivirus in Firewall and Nortan had conflicted. So when you install them look properly for the settings and give a detailed study and confirm yourselves that there is going to be no conflict and then install. Its just a swatch from my own opinion. Another advise is dont be paranoid. These two will protect you enough. Just get on. Have a nice day.
