There's no 'best anti virus'. But there are those that almost always do well in tests and reviews.

If you're looking for free software, you may consider either of the three: AVG, Avast, or AntiVir.

If you can fork out the dough, you may want to consider Kaspersky, which I've found to be pretty solid.
