1st.. I don't really trust norton because of some reasons...

2nd.. Wireless connection is unstable.. Thank you for giving that clue

3rd.. Make sure you don't do banking transaction wirelessly.. Try using the lan cable as it is safer..

4th.. Try downloading AVG and for firewall, Zonealarm Basic if you can't get the Pro

5th.. Configure Zonealarm to make it suitable for you

6th.. Get an antispyware (i recommend Spysweeper) and clean your computer..

If you find Norton not effective try another . You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at

there are two possibilities:

1- there is a virus on your computer which override your antivirus

2- or you don't update your antivirus
