I've been using Spy Sweeper, which seems to work great, but wanted to know if there are any better ones before I renew my subscription. Please explain why Spy Sweeper or others are superior. Thanks.

Spybot Search and Destroy is also good and has a immunization feature that prevents the crud from installing.
They are the only two I use.
Both are free.

I have used Norton Internet Security for years without issue. I'm currently using NIS 2007 that has all the anti-(bug) ware stuff. Trust me, NIS is well tested by my surfing "habits".
I run AVG free, SpywareGuard, SpywareBlaster, Spybot S%26D, SyGate Firewall.
Many malware caught, but I have not been infected since I started using this combination back in '03.
