I Just Dropped Norton Internet security and Installed Trend Micro Internet Security. And It found 22 Problems on my computer that Norton did not Find when I scanned my computer today. I think it is better. ( It Does not Slow down my Computer).
kaspersky gets my vote.

it detects more than most i reckon .

and runs very quietly in the background not taking too many cpu cycles away from the pc.

I think you go for Norton Antivirus.

This antivirus will remove all your viruses and this antivirus do not need daily updates and you can update it once in 15 days so your system may be clean.

Or if you want speed in ur system also i think you go for windows defender. By installing this it will clean your system totally and the system will also be speed. If you dont get the software you download autopatcher and in this you will get this software and many updates that will give many more options. Thanking you..
I've just ditched Norton, it slowed down my machine and caused no end of problems.

I now use AVG coupled with AVG Anti-spyware (both free):

If you want to pay, go for Norton or McAfee, but AVG will do the job just as well, and won't eat up your processor power like the other two do.
